Careers at MDW Consulting
MDW Consulting & Company has been named one of the world’s best places to work, offering a wide range of career options for undergraduates, MBAs, advanced degree holders and working professionals.
A career at MDW Consulting is an excellent choice—and unlike any other.
Here are a few reasons why …
Global Business Experience
At MDW Consulting, we want our consultants to experience firsthand how a successful business operates across all functions.
You’ll quickly develop expertise and skills across multiple industries and business needs; we don’t pigeonhole you as a specialist early in your career. Over time, you’ll build increasing expertise, using your unique experience in other industries to advance the client’s objectives.
Future Career Potential
We want our employees to thrive at MDW Consulting, regardless of what their future plans are. Our dedicated career teams (MDW Consulting Career Advisory and MDW Consulting Executive Network) provide guidance and support at all stages as you plan for your future. Just two or three years with us will offer you incredible opportunities, both at MDW Consulting and beyond—from becoming a MDW Consulting partner to starting your own business, stepping into a senior role at a top tech company, joining a private equity firm or making a meaningful social impact at a nonprofit you love.
MDW Consulting Office Model
MDW Consulting’s home office model creates a team environment in your home office. Our consultants work with many of their office colleagues on multiple cases throughout their careers—they’re not just onetime collaborations. As a result, case leadership is truly invested in you, and your colleagues often become close and supportive friends. At the crux of our model is your home office program manager, who will get to know you and your professional and personal priorities. He or she will be your career advocate to ensure your experiences meet your professional and personal goals. This model doesn’t mean you won’t develop a strong global network, too. Cross-office teams, international case assignments, experience transfers and global trainings are all commonplace.
What is management consulting?
Over the past 20 years, consulting has been the first career step for many of the most talented young business graduates. But while they may be familiar with top firms’ prestigious reputations, few people know what the job is actually about.
